History of Bongo and Coco

History of Bongo and Coco

Bongo and Coco were born Christmas Eve 1994. They were raised in the Cannabis Buyers' Club, for their first year of life. Afterwards, I had given Bongo to Coco's owner, where they were raised together, thoughout the rest of their lives in Santa Cruz, California. Later, Bazil, Coco's owner, decided to in-bread Bongo and Coco together, delivering three puppies. One of the pup's, died at birth, where the others, went off to seperate home. Ceaser, went to someone in Santa Cruiz, and died in his 9th year of life.

The other puppy, went to the Founder of Prop 215, Dennis Peron. Where he named her "Pinky". Pinky staid with Dennis, up unti she died, in her 10 year of life..

I had caught wind of the news, that Bazil had been away in Spain for the past five years, and the dogs were staying with a friend in Santa Cruiz. It was then, that I immediately wanted Bongo back, now that my life was back on track. So I went to Dennis Peron's (Pinky, was still alive then), and asked if he knew how, I could get Bongo back.

It wasn't, until about a year later, when I heard the news, that Bazil, had passed away. Now, if I wanted Bongo back, I had to take Coco as well.

Wow, ten years later and I had both dogs back, living with me in Pacific Hieghts. But, when the dogs arrived, after having lived in a van for quite some time, the hair was almost dred's. So, I decide to cut their hair off and let it grow back.

Low and behold. Underneith all that hair, on those pomeranian, corgy cross dogs of mine, ly's a lion. As you can see by Bongo's photo to the left. He's look,s like the Lion King. Bongo and Coco are now in their 13th years of life. They walk like old folks, and not my pace, at all. Therefore, to keep up with me, I choose to ride them around, in a baby stroller. Though, they do let me know, when its time to walk. Also I don't do hills.

And Bongo and Coco can be seen walking around, the Civic Center Plaza, on occassions.

"Look at those doggies in the baby stroller!"
